Rotator Options
On the homepage of any of the Select On Site designs is what we call a Home Rotator. Home rotators are available on any design even if they are not shown on the demos (Design 12, 13, 16). They are also generally located near the top of the page on most designs.
The home rotator consists of various slides meant to feature only the MOST IMPORTANT aspects of your business. The ideal number of slides is typically no more than 3-4 slides. By default, each website design is pre-loaded with the following slides provided the featured service is offered:
- Slide #23: It's That Time Of Year Again
- Slide #13: Financing
- Slide #31: Service Agreements
You may choose to remove or replace these defaults as well as add additional slides selected from the list below.
Most of the slides below consist of a headline, a short line of paragraph text, and a button. The button links the slide to the appropriate inner page of your website. These elements are broadly written to fit most dealer's needs, however, any of them are modifiable. The background image/video, however, cannot be modified.
If a featured product or service is offered for something not listed below, a custom slide can be requested. All custom slides must include a background image (must be a non-copyrighted image with a minimum width of 1920px) and should (but doesn't have to) include a headline, paragraph text, and a button with a link. Examples of slides with no text or buttons include dealer-supplied team or fleet photos.
NOTE: Slides below with a red outline denote slides with a video background. All other slides use static background images.
The Bryant, Carrier, and Trane-specific rotators are automatically added to the top of the dealer's Special Offers page, if active. If the Special Offers page is inactive, these slides will be added to the end of the home rotator slides after any that are specified by the dealer. These branded slides are used to promote specific makes and models of branded product. The American Standard-specific rotator is added to the end of the home rotator also and links out to the American Standard blog page as a requirement for Co-Op dealers.
